Head of PR

Our dynamic and ever-growing PR team at Cicero in Manchester is in need of someone to head up this highly successful division of the northwest’s leading B2B agency.

Cicero Marketing Communications is a fully integrated agency with billings in excess of £50m per annum. In light of this, we are rapidly growing in order to keep up with our ever-increasing client list and what we require is a PR professional who can head up our well established and profitable PR team.

This is a senior role and the chosen candidate will take responsibility for leading and developing the existing five PR team members as well as recruiting new staff when necessary. It goes without saying that the right candidate will also have excellent communication skills.

The Cicero PR department has experience in a range of B2B sectors but with our rapid expansion, we are looking to aggressively diversify and consolidate this area. As well as actively bringing in new business to the agency, the Head of PR will also be responsible for handling budgets and delivering pre-agreed financial targets, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Agency experience is essential and a previous client list of blue-chip clients is highly desirable – those with long-standing relationships with clients who they can bring to the agency will be duly rewarded. A diverse CV citing experience in brand awareness, event planning, marketing and communications and crisis management will also help push candidates to the top of our selection list.

Artworker

We are looking for an enthusiastic and accurate mac artworker, with a minimum of 1 year experience, to join our friendly team, working on a vast range of projects from, marketing literature, POS through to press advertisements. You will be required to have a good knowledge of the various software (Indesign, Quark Express, Photoshop and Illustrator).

PR Account Manager

These are exciting times for Cicero, and we’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic and forward-thinking PR team, and be part of a thriving business.

The right candidate will have more than four years agency experience, preferably in the B2B sector; excellent communication and writing skills; the ability to drive existing business, as well as being proactively involved in bringing on board new clients. Attention to detail, good budget & people management, together with the ability to work to tight deadlines are also key attributes.
