Cicero wins CMPi re-brand contract for second year

The increased attendance at the 2007 CPhI event has resulted in Cicero winning the opportunity to work with CMPi for a second year.

With over 22,000 attendees and 1,500 exhibitors CPhI, CMPi’s flagship event, is the largest event in the pharmaceutical industry. Initially Cicero was tasked with repositioning CPhI as the annual meeting and networking event for pharmaceutical professionals. Since then, Cicero has begun work on annually re-branding the convention.

This autumn Peter Brown and his account team flew to Milan to support the launch of the new marketing campaign to promote the 2008 event. The internationally recognised convention has been completely re-branded in an epic task which demonstrates a campaign spanning emerging nations such as India, Japan, China and South America.

The creative design includes a new corporate message “where intelligence gathers”, and different species of flower which represent the cultures and traditions of the different regions. For example, the CPhI branding material for India, ranging from advertorials, event invites and posters, all feature an exotic lotus blossom.

With ever increasing attendance, CPhI is the ideal platform for exhibitors and visitors to meet with the best in their industry, discover new technologies and develop new contacts. CMPi is predicting a further increase in numbers for 2008.
